About Me
Hey! I’m Daniel Odetoye, a Computer Science & Immersive Media Design student at UMD with a passion for building scalable, user-focused solutions that blend technical precision with creative storytelling. My journey has taken me from winning a state basketball championship to launching ThroughDanLens a full-stack photography platform with automated scheduling and client workflows to experimenting with creative AI projects and learning new tech stacks. Recently, I worked with PwC as a Cloud & AI Engineering Intern, where I contributed to client-facing solutions that helped real users engage with intelligent platforms more effectively.
What drives me most is building systems that feel as good as they function. Through programs like Amazon Next, CodePath, MLT Ascend, and the QUEST Honors Program at UMD, I’ve built a strong foundation in modern frameworks, cloud engineering, and Agile development. But my biggest growth has come from hands-on work designing, shipping, and improving real-world apps. I'm currently looking for software engineering roles where I can contribute to cloud infrastructure, API development, and data-driven features while bringing creative energy and a collaborative mindset to forward-thinking teams.
